The family production of journalist Nandakumar ‘Yuva Samrat’ is hitting silver screen on 30th. 30 years of experience in journalist had made Nandakumar that his family film would be received with warm welcome. It did not happen so. Knowing so many in the industry did not fetch good welcome to his film. I feel sorry for that Nandakumar explained in the presence of his family members – wife and two sons on the eve of release of ‘Yuva Samrat’.


For the release of this film it has been one and half years suffocation. Both my sons are talented but right treatment is not meted out feels Nandakumar. With limitations and constraints we have done shooting for this film he says.


Kiran Kumar in his debut film felt that there will be good media support and that would push up the business. The first part was OK, second part did not happen.


Yashwanth director in his debut says it is just two hours cinema runs in two track with a strong message.

Nandakumar son Kiran Kumar is playing the lead with Snizhana as female counterpart in this film. Smt Varalakshmi Nandakumar is producer and Nandakumar second son Yashwanth Kumar has penned the story, screenplay, dialogues and directs the film.


Sri Varalakshmi Films ‘Yuva Samrat’ is a pack of love, romance, sentiment and thrills. Journalist cum director Nandakumar is doing the production executive task for his son film.


Yashwanth has also done music for this film. Suresh is cameraman. Lovely lass from Ukraine Snizhana is female lead. Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, Srinivasamurthy, MS Umesh, Bharathi Sharma, Renu, Darshan Ding and others are in the supporting cast.
